How to use the Rescue Ripper
The Rescue Ripper is a simple, easy to learn tool that requires minimal ongoing instruction once operators are trained in its use. Trainer courses or operators manuals can be provided if required.
1.
Retreive the Rescue Ripper
Locate Rescue Ripper from vehicle, remove from bag / case.
2.
Attach anchor point
Attach the Rescue Ripper anchor point onto vehicle.
3.
Penetrate the armoured glass
Utilising the Rescue Ripper mechanism drive the Ripper into the armoured glass panel.
4.
Remove glass using ripper
Once securely driven through, utilise the anchor to remove the armoured glass panel.
5.
Extract personnel / equipment
Extract personnel or equipment safely through the area with armoured glass removed.
6.
Depart
Depart the area.
